I’m usually not attracted to cargo pants that have a lot of pockets. They are often too stiff, too fitted, or not the right shape.

The Cynthia Rowley cargo pants feel amazing on. You know when you put something on and your heart jumps. That’s when you know it’s love.

1. The curvy shape. This gives them that elevated shape that makes every body look chic.

2. The ankle adjustment – you can wear these pants either fitted at the ankle or not. This makes a huge difference in having options, especially depending on which shoes you are wearing.

3. The material is soft and dreamy. Even my husband, the skeptic, said they were worth it.

Edited to add – I indeed did get another color (okay, two, but who’s counting?!) The above pants are their newest material in satin, and come in four colors. After receiving Coffee (image above), I immediately ordered Black and they will both be my year-round pants. You can dress them up or down and they feel like pajamas, dreamy!

I never get multiples in clothing, because I can get bored, but I couldn’t resist. These pants were made for me and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been wearing all three pairs non-stop over the past month.

My plaid pants are definitely a vibe, for which I am so happy about. I’m originally from Canada, but live in San Diego CA and Fall and Christmas are my favorite times of the year. So these pants just speak to my heart and I will be wearing them A LOT. Did I already wear them the first day I got them? Yes. Did I get a lot of positive comments? Also yes.

But they also come in a bunch of different colors, patterns, and materials.

Sizing

The web site advises to size down. The models are all wearing small. I am normally a small / size 6 and I ordered the Small and held my breath. They are perfection. So I personally think they are true to size. If I had sized down to XS they would have been too tight in the waist to button (the small are perfect) and they wouldn’t have had that beautiful slouch.

Final Thoughts

I love these pants so much I will be buying them in a basic color – probably black or tan (because I already have a green pair that I adore).

Are cargo pants trending right now? I guess so, however, I do not care about trends. I only care about things I love that I think I will wear for many years. Comfort is king for me and these felt like wearing pajamas. I’m down with that!
