My Margaux shoes review is a long time in the making. I admired them for years before actually ordering!

About
As we began designing that perfect wear-everywhere shoe, we realized we needed to rethink the footwear sizing equation altogether.
This women founded and run organization is all about making sure every single person can find their perfect shoe size (US 3 to 14 and 3 widths).

Sizing
…we offer three widths and US 3 to 14, along with a best-in-class suite of concierge options that makes finding your just-right fit easy.
They have three unique flat sandal styles.
I was confused by which size to order, so I reached out to customer service for advice.
Their Help pages are super informative on anything you might need to know. Visit Margaux Help pages here!
This is also where you can book a virtual consultation (click Book), if you’d like more detailed guidance on the best size to order!
I am typically a size 7.5 in most brands, however, I am also 7 in some brands (Converse, Vans), and 8 in others (some European brands and usually all boots).
They suggested I take 7 and turns out they were spot on. So I say they run 1/2 size large and if you are unsure, that’s how I would order.
Their shoes also have a reputation for being a bit narrow, so I ordered wide (I have a wider toe box). If you have a wide foot, the wide should be perfect. I also could have taken the Medium, as the wide were plenty roomy (but not too big).
In summary, I would normally buy 7.5 but got these in 7W, and absolutely could have worn 7M (especially with their beautiful supple leather which will certainly stretch)! They also offer Narrow sizes!

Sandal Style
Margaux Wrap Sandal (down to 7)
I was super torn between the Flat Sandal (normal ankle strap) and the Wrap Sandal (wrap-tie ankle strap). In the end, I love the drama of the wrap, but it really just depends on your personality.
One benefit of the normal ankle strap is you don’t have to mess around with tying, which can be frustrating for some. I’ve been wearing this style of sandal for years, so I knew I would be fine.

Colors
Margaux Wrap Sandal (down to 7)
I tried three colors! First, Saddle Nappa (the most gorgeous classic color), Champagne (seriously stunning and dressy), plus chili suede (a bold pop of color).
After much contemplation, I kept the chili suede. I still dream about the other colors, however I do have tan and metallic sandals and I figured it was time to go big and bold. The Chili Suede is a fun pop to an otherwise neutral wardrobe. I’m loving them so much.
They are often adding new colors, so keep an eye for that. I’ve noticed that some colors sell out quickly, so if you spot your size in stock, don’t wait!

Comfort
Margaux Wrap Sandal (down to 7)
At 51, I have zero tolerance for uncomfortable shoes. My feet are finicky and I now have a few brands I know are just comfortable and work well.
I can happily report Margaux shoes are incredibly comfortable.
I’ve worn mine all day long with zero issues. I had no break-in time or rubbing. For me, that’s pretty huge. With their signature foam padding in the sole, I love the feeling of walking on a cloud!

Customer Service
Margaux has top notch customer service! From their fit appointments to their early return process (Happy Returns — it’s THE BEST and you get an immediate refund upon dropping off your return).
The return policy allows for 14 days for a full refund, and 30 days for a store credit.
I had such a hard time deciding between the brown leather, metallic, and chili suede, but in the end I decided to go for the bold shoe. Returning and getting my refund couldn’t have been easier!
