Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 – Tops and Sweaters!

First up in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 picks — one of my favorite things, tops and sweaters!

I take my recommendations very seriously! Bottom line – I will only recommend what I would personally consider buying.

My Golden Rule! — Only buy what you love and definitely only keep what you love. And make sure they also fit well into the rest of your closet…a beautiful item that doesn’t work with anything in your closet will hang there unworn!

Tops

I get so excited about new tops because it feels like the most exciting part of an outfit.

The Blouses

I love investing in pretty blouses that can be worn with pretty much everything else in my closet, both for a more professional setting and for date night and beyond!

The Tees

The Camisoles

I bought the Nili Lotan last year (image above) and it’s possibly the most beautiful fabric I’ve ever put on my body. I sized up to M! L’Agence camisoles are also GOOD. I love the new beautiful yellow. And finally, everyone loves the Vince slip dress – now in a camisole…winning!

The Button-Downs

We all need a good button-down in our wardrobe but it’s not always easy to find the perfect one. Rails is well-known for their good button-downs and my very favorite is the Ellis. I typically size up to Medium in Rails’ tops for extra room in the bust and because I like my button-downs to be a little looser in a borrowed-from-the-boys fashion.

Also, my favorite Frank & Eileen Barry is available in a non-distressed version. Finally the Vince band blouse is a total classic.

The Pretty Tops for Date Night and Beyond

I’m a sucker for beautiful tops and fabrics. And, of course, stripes. These are the “pretty” tops that I would wear day to night — it all depends on your styling! And you know I’m your girl if you need styling tips and ideas!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 – Sweaters

Next up in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 – sweaters! Oh sweaters, how I do love thee. I am, admittedly, a sweater snob, but for good reason. I expect my sweaters to last forever and be softer than soft.

Top Sweater Pick!

I love La Ligne! First, they are impeccably made and their stripes are beyond perfection. When it comes to sweaters I don’t want anything fussy or precious. I like classic styles that I won’t soon tire of.

The Date Night Sweater

Frame is one of my favorite brands for unique styles that are also crafted with beautiful fabric and details. I love the sleeves on this, but they are also not so trendy that it will soon be out of style. It has just enough style to stand out and be sexy and fun for date night and beyond.

Short Sleeve / Sleeveless

I run hot, but still love the softness of a beautiful sweater. These are the perfect pieces for layering.

Simple Classics

These are my top choices for really beautiful pieces that are classic but also beautifully chic.

The Sporty One

We all need one sweater / pullover that we can wear with anything and everything! The one you can throw on with jeans for the grocery store or after the gym. This one. This is a yearly favorite from Sweaty Betty and it does not fail to impress. Such a great price point, too!

The Cable Knit

Vince makes some of my favorite sweaters of all time. I haven’t tried this one on, but if you like a v-neck, both of these colors are beautiful.
