I had been searching for PJs for day and night but was having trouble finding a pair that hit the mark. A friend of mine (@currentlydk – an effortlessly cool NYC blogger – you should check her out, trust me) posted this pair, and I immediately knew – they were the one.
The company – West of Breakfast – is a small sister owned company which feels amazing to support. From their website…

The colors and patterns of this set speak for themselves – and trust me, I am crazily picky when it comes to patterns (a solid 90% of my wardrobe is solids or stripes). This one is just so good…I swoon.

I paired the top with my trusty Agolde Riley jeans, Frame heeled sandals and feather bag…I mean, how could I NOT pair a feather bag with a pajama top – haha. I wore this for dinner and drinks with my husband. I kid you not, as we walked to the restaurant, at least 4 people called to me out of their cars about this outfit. I have NEVER had that happen. This entire look just felt so fresh and fun – I am totally in love.
Also a quick note on these jeans, if you are looking for an updated pair of jeans that are not skinnies – but you aren’t quite ready to make the leap to a full-on loose fit or 90s jean style, these are the perfect pair. They are extremely flattering and I honestly think they would look amazing on most body types.
They fit TTS – this pair was a little snug on the first wear but stretched just the right amount and are now – perfect!

Now, to be honest, when I purchased this set I fully anticipated loving the top styled to wear out. What I didn’t expect was how fun the bottoms would be to wear around town. I paired them with my go-to white tee and a pair of Swedish Hasbeens for an unexpected look. The material is soft and comfy but thick enough to stand up as actual pants….they are perfection.
And a great white tee is one of those pieces that everyone should have in their closet. This is by far my favorite – I wear it a ton (at least once a week). I wash on delicate and hang to dry – the quality is amazing and it lasts forever. Trust me, it’s worth it! For layering, my favorite is the James Perse tee.
I have been enjoying these pieces so much, I am strongly considering adding a second set to my closet. West of Breakfast has so many good ones…but I specifically have my eye on this one…

If you are looking for an unexpected set to spice up your wardrobe, I highly recommend these Pjs for day and night by West of Breakfast.
And in addition to styling them for streetwear they are incredibly chic for actual pajamas. I have slept in them numerous times (sooo comfy) and lounged in them ALL day on Mother’s Day.
They would make an amazing gift! And are also the perfect pjs for when you have house guests and need to be presentable and in your jammies simultaneously.
