Tuck Them!

Simple answer – tuck your top! It will highlight your waist. Even better – add a belt! The key is making sure to show the waist. You are creating a curvy hourglass silhouette which will make your waist look smaller!

I don’t wear cropped tops, but when you have a high waist (which will make your legs look even longer) you can wear a top that hits right at the waist. Again, we want to show that defined waistline.

The simplest formula EVER. And guess what? It looks chic as heck! Add some contrast with colors or go monochromatic. It all works!

Tie It!
Any blouse you have – instead of tucking it, tie it in the front. You create that tighter part right at the smallest part of your waist which is so flattering!

If you haven’t tried this technique, it’s a must. You can either do a half tuck or a full tuck like I did above.

The very simplest answer is – try a front tuck with anything and everything. You will be surprised how easy this is! Just remember – show the waist and you will create that curvy silhouette.
