I may be biased, but I think moms are the heroes of the world! I’m including a Mother’s Day gift guide of things I have or would love to receive personally!
Mother’s Day Gift Guide
Time Together
Two years ago all I wanted was a picture with my kids (and yes my dogs are part of that mix, too)! My son wasn’t keen on me posting the results, so this is what I can share! This year, my request is exactly the same.
If I’m being completely honest, my favorite gifts aren’t things that can be “purchased”. What I really love is special time together that someone else prepares / cleans / plans! It doesn’t have to be an expensive dinner or outing, either! When my family makes a favorite meal while I relax and don’t have to worry about anything, I couldn’t ask for much more!
And don’t forget to capture those moments! You’ll be so grateful for them.

Dyson Hair Tools
My first try with Dyson dryer! Usually I have to blow dry AND flat iron to get this smooth.
I have resisted the Dyson hair tool hype…until I killed my blow dryer in Greece, ugh! After chatting with my hair stylist, she suggested I try the Dyson Supersonic™ Hair Dryer. I’ve now used it a handful of times since I got home and to say it has changed my life would not be an exaggeration.
I don’t know what voodoo magic is inside that blow dryer, but holy cats, it’s crazy good!
I’m someone who HATES blow drying my hair. I literally plan my life around when I have to blow dry my hair (to minimize how many times) and the Dyson hair dryer actually makes it a pleasurable experience. Like how? It’s said to be way more gentle but I never really believed it was much different. After all, I had always had an expensive professional blow dryer.
But it’s much faster, makes my hair way smoother and straighter, and somehow I don’t end up a sweaty mess after using it.
I did actually ask for the Dyson Corrale flat iron for Mother’s Day…which I’ll probably get early. Look for reviews coming soon!
Last time I saw my stylist, she noticed I had more split ends than usual, noooooo! So I’ll be anxious to see how the Dyson makes a difference on split ends!

Color Guru
How about the gift of color with a Color Guru personal color analysis? I’ve written about my experience here and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I shop for clothes with much more confidence than ever before!
And bonus – right now there’s a 20% discount on any order when combined with code DENIM20.
Color Guru’s packages start at $155. I chose that base package plus I added the laminated makeup card for $40.
All the Color Guru packages are located here.

Perfume
Perfume is such an amazing gift because most women love it but don’t often buy it. These are my two favorite and most-worn perfumes.
Expert Tip: Include a sample of the perfume with your gift. If they don’t like the sample, they can exchange the unused bottle for something else

A Silk Pillowcase & Eye Mask
A Mother’s Day gift guide would not be complete without a silk pillowcase and eye mask. This is the perfect gift no matter her age. Not only does it feel luxurious, but it’s actually better for your hair (less breakage) and skin (less drying). I also sleep so much better with my sleep mask.

Chic Loungewear
Vuori is in my top three brands of all time. I wore Vuori all over Greece and I was so dang thankful! These are pieces I wear on a weekly basis (sometimes daily)!
Everything I own from Vuori is amazing, but the following are my current favorites! Shop the entire Vuori store here.

OR A Gorgeous Jewelry Box
The WOLF jewelry boxes are exquisite and so well made. I have this exact jewelry box (the medium size) and I couldn’t love it more. Not only is it amazing for storing my jewelry, it’s literally like a work of art in my bedroom. This will, without question, be handed down to my daughter eventually. The medium and large sizes come with a smaller travel case as well, which is a nice touch.
If she already has a jewelry box, but needs something for travel, the small version is perfect for keeping your treasures safe when away from home.

For the Wine Lover
I was gifted a set of wine glasses for my birthday last year. They are like art in a wine glass. And they are, by far, the prettiest things in my kitchen.
If wine isn’t her thing, there are other options as well!

Bonus points for going to your local cheese shop and adding some specialty cheeses and jams.
Mother’s Day Gift Guide
For Summer Picnics (or Concerts)
My favorite thing about Summer is picnics in the park and outdoor concerts. A new blanket to carry along or these insulated wine glasses would be a great idea. Even better, plan a picnic for Mother’s Day!

Urban Stems Delivered
Flowers are nice, but I much prefer a house plant that’s not going to die in a week. This is great delivery service that I’ve used in the past – highly recommend. OR, go to your local plant boutique and pick her out something yourself…swoon!
That rounds out my top picks for our Mother’s Day gift guide. Do you have any favorite things that I’ve missed? Drop me a line in the comments. I’m always looking for new go-to gift ideas!
