Gosh, this is going to sound a bit extreme but if my house caught on fire – this is one of the things I would grab on the way out! (After the kids and pets of course.) Haha! Seriously though, it’s one of my most worn and most loved pieces. It’s truly forever.
I actually bought mine during this exact sale three years ago. I know it’s an investment but it’s worth it – trust me. You won’t regret it. Note that it does run small. I’m typically an xs and sized all the way up to a 38 in order to wear sweaters underneath.
Loeffler Randall Goldy Boots (Both of us!)
Tammy & I both have and love these boots – another forever piece. Sensing a theme here? But seriously, this is the sale where we buy many (if not most) of our investment pieces. These boots are stunningly gorgeous and will just get better with time.

We are obsessed with these boots. We talked about them in detail in our ‘Everyday Booties and Bags’ article. They are the perfect lug boot that are both “tough” and feminine. On sale, run! One of our tops picks – we will both be wearing these all Fall and Winter. Be sure and size down 1/2 a size! They do run big. (Tammy took her normal shoe size of 7.5 but she normally sizes up to 8 in boots.)

Frank & Eileen rarely goes on sale. It’s my all-time favorite brand for button downs, and this denim shirt is seriously perfection. It has amazing distressing around the hemline and the high/low color make its so special – this is not just any old denim shirt. See my article here.
If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, this Free People shirt also caught my eye. I love the retro vibe.
Re/Done Tees (Both of us!)
We both love Re/done tees – they have the best graphics and read quirky/vintage, which we love. Our exact tees are long gone but there are a few really cute ones in the sale. They do run a smidge small, so if you prefer a slouchier fit, you may want to consider sizing up 1.

We love this cut – if you are still clinging to your skinnies but want a modern update, we couldn’t recommend these more. This is also one of our favorite cuts for pairing with lug boots. They are insanely flattering and comfortable. TTS

If you want to dip your toe in the 90s jeans trend, these would be our top pick. We both both have and love the cut of these. Be sure to size down 1.
Moussy Jeans (Rachel)
I seriously live in these jeans and you’ve seen them on the blog a ton. They rarely go on sale. If you’ve ever wanted to try these, now is the time! Size up by 1. They are rigid denim and do require a small but oh-so-worth it break in period (think a few wears, and I promise it’s not too painful). One of my top picks!
Mother Jeans

We are huge fans of Mother jeans and there are some great ones in the sale.
On Tammy: Insider (TTS, exact wash)
Insider jeans are some of the best Mother jeans we own! They are stretchy and mold perfectly to the body. They will be tight initially but do stretch out, so we don’t recommend sizing up (Tammy wearing size 26 above).
In addition to the ones above, these two are definitely worth a look. Rachel has and loves the flares (size up 1) and plans on blogging about them soon. The Tomcats (also size up 1) are a long-time fave and Tammy literally wore hers to shreds.
Give Us All The Silk Camisoles
If you’ve been following us for a while, you know we are huge fans of silk camisoles. They are wardrobe staples and workhorses. We always snag these when they go on sale. These are our favorites in the sale…and they will go fast!
Clare V Bags
We love our Clare V bags. They are quirky and outfit making, and the types of bags we will happily carry for years. They are also reasonably priced for the quality.
Make A Statement – You can’t go wrong with animal print, and that black/white check is oh so tempting.
A classic black bag – I seriously love this bag in black. A great everyday bag.
Staud Bags
We also love bags by Staud. They have a similar aesthetic to very high end designer bags for a fraction of the price. And the quality – we are so impressed.

Stunning Staud Heels (Rachel)
I’m obsessed with these heels – that buckle is everything. I’m a baby with heels and normally don’t go over a 3″ heel – there are slightly higher but very easy to walk in. I think it’s the width and shape of the heel. These are such a staple but that silver buckle adds edge and just makes them so cool. I fluctuate between a 6 and 6 1/2 and take a 6 in these.
A Fun & Inexpensive Dress (Rachel)

I ordered this dress on a whim because I loved the color so much and was shocked by how much I like it. I adore the 70s vibe – especially when paired with tall boots. I will post more about this dress later this week, but it’s so great for Fall. It would also make the perfect Thanksgiving day dress – eat all you want and no one will ever know – haha! TTS
Nippies! And Pretty Bralettes
Nippies are what we wear under silk camisoles and basically anything that would normally require a strapless bra. Tammy is a DDD and loves them too – see her article here.
As far as bras go, I’m wearing a black lace bralette 90% of the time. There are two gorgeous ones in the sale.

We have waxed poetic about our dark brown Lafayette boots that are currently sold out. The dark brown boots below are almost the exact same color and a beautiful pair.
I (Rachel) ordered these taupe boots to try. I have talked a ton about my love for the Rag and Bone Rover boots, which are perfect for daytime. But I really need a higher heeled version for evening. These look amazing, but they are going fast!

I bought this during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Blue isn’t no longer available, but the charcoal is the absolute perfect dark grey, and I would buy it in a heartbeat if I didn’t already have the blue. It’s a fantastic sweater, can be dressed up or down, and so not overwhelming with the puffed sleeves (something I typically can’t / don’t wear). This is a good one.
