I am hoping my top Nordstrom sale pieces styled will give you a little inspiration and help you envision how these items could fit into your existing wardrobe.
I cranked up the A/C (trying on in summer is serious business!) and put together several combinations which also helped me decide what to keep. These are some of my favorite pieces that I am absolutely keeping and that I will wear a ton.
Vince Short Sleeve Sweater – With Shorts!
I don’t think I’ve ever owned a short sleeve sweater. It just didn’t seem right to me, know what I mean? But I saw the peacock colorway color during the preview and I just knew I had to try it on. Well what a surprise — it’s freaking amazing! Peacock is currently sold out, but honestly, I’m also loving the black. I briefly considered buying both, but sometimes I just have to stop myself from the destruction, haha!
And yes, it’s summer and hot, but I’m already wearing it, because guess what…it looks phenomenal with shorts and it’s not really that hot in a short sleeve. This is a beautiful lightweight and drapey material…plus sheesh what is up with the ridiculous air conditioning everywhere we go? What’s a girl to wear, really?!

With Jeans and the AGL Loafers!
So confession…I haven’t worn loafers since I worked in a formal office back home in Canada. Well loafers are back and better than ever. They are going to be everywhere this year and I am actually loving them. It took me a minute to figure out if they were “for me” and now it’s a big fat yes. These are sooooo good and shockingly comfortable. I’m in love. And it’s a nice change from booties!
I think these loafers can be dressed up or down. I will wear them to business casual events and when I want something a little different, plus I think they are a perfect shoe for the office too!
For A Professional Setting!
I’ve had a bunch of requests for clothes that can be worn in the office. This would be my choice — either with loafers or heels depending on my mood (and how much walking I had to do during the day)!
This BA&SH top is not part of the Anniversary sale, but it is new and I am smitten! I don’t really wear a lot of traditional button down shirts, but I love the idea of them so I’m always looking for options that are similar but with a spin…this! It’s so cute and I will wear it with both pants and jeans. See the link for the various ways it can be worn – tucked or not!

Honestly, I love juxtaposition in fashion. Pairing a classic pair of loafers with distressed jeans? Yeah, that’s kind of my jam. I love how the dark lines of this sweater contrast perfectly and pulls the entire look together.
The Nili Lotan Camisole
In our original preview article, I did mention there was only one camisole I would consider buying (thanks to the many I already have, sigh, it’s a problem)! Well it was shipped to me and the verdict…it’s amazing. Honestly better than I expected. I don’t really have any light colored camisoles – white always feels a little boring to me and I’ve just not found one I love. This is the perfect light-colored camisole and I will be wearing it A LOT.
For date night. This combination is stunning. I am wearing my bootcut jeans with pointy-toe heels and the long lines of this combination is very chic. Add a leather jacket for fall or winter and you are set. I truly love this combination.

Add a cardigan for a unique layer. Here I love how my old Zadig & Voltaire cardigan is the same tone but the sheen of the camisole against the cashmere is such a rich combination. I have to layer all the time, even in the summer, because you never know when it’s going to be freezing indoors.

With Black Pants
I absolutely adore this camisole with black pants. The material of this top is so stunning you have to see it in real life to truly appreciate the beauty. I love pairing this combination with neutral shoes and bag. You could wear black shoes here, but this is more unexpected and I love the contrast. These shoes are also shockingly comfortable. The first time I wore them was to a four hour event and my nary a blister or issue. And they are crazy affordable so win-win!

Add A Jacket or Duster
I think my favorite of these two looks is the long cashmere duster. One of my very favorites of all the things I tried on!
