Our top sexy sweater list covers all our favorite sweaters that show a little skin, but we want to make something clear — it’s not the showing of skin that makes something sexy, but rather the confidence you wear it with.
Aging doesn’t have to be scary. At 49, I feel better in my skin than I did ten years ago. Yep, I now have more wrinkles, grey hairs, and my body needs more exercise than ever before…but it’s about being more accepting of myself. And allowing myself to do and wear what I want. I really don’t worry about anyone but me and that’s been so freeing.

1) Sexy Sweater – L’Agence Easton
You guys all saw us ponder the Paige Raundi sweater a number of times. Lots of people LOVE it, and it is super pretty on, but two issues for us — it was so much fabric (sizing down required). But also a few of our readers (plus online reviews) reported it pilling terribly after just a couple wears.
We get it, sweaters pill, but one friend said it was so bad she tossed it after only wearing twice because it looked ten years old. And by now you all know we are of the “buy once and wear forever” mentality.
We both LOVE the L’Agence brand, and I’d been eyeing their almost identical Easton sweater for some time. It wasn’t until fellow fabulous blogger and friend Susie posted about it. She told me it was lighter and less fabric and I was immediately sold and thanks to Revolve’s two day free shipping, I had it in my hot little hands fast!
Well she was right. This thing is PERFECT!!! I’ve only worn it once so far, so I can’t personally speak to how it wears, but Susie has it in a number of colors and says they are great!
Oh! And I also wore my favorite no-bra bra — Nippies. I love these things so stupidly much I ordered a couple more on sale even though I still have no issues with my very first pair that I’ve been using for a long time… Just trust us and buy them already. Everyone we’ve referred them to always comes back and thanks us. Yep, we TOLD you!!!
Nippies Fit Notes: Rachel recently sized up to the 2 and says she much prefers. So if in doubt, size up. I also wear size 2, and even though I’m a 32DDD, they do fit and as long as you lift as you are applying, they do provide a nice boost.
2) Sexy Sweater – Naked Cashmere Tulip
Of course our new favorite cashmere brand, Naked Cashmere, is included in this list. Their off the shoulder sweaters offer just a little or a lot of off-the-shoulder sexiness.
The Tulip is a perfect lightweight 145 grams of 100% pure cashmere in 7-gauge knit and has a boat neck that can be worn either off or on the shoulder. At only $125, we deem this an affordable pick and it’s great for dressing up or down.

3) Sexy Sweater – Naked Cashmere Runa

And Naked Cashmere landed on our list twice! This time for the Runa which is 210 grams of 100% pure cashmere 12-gauge knit and very much off the shoulder. It has a much wider neck than the Tulip and is too slouchy to really wear ON the shoulder. We love all the colors and this one is TTS. Rachel wears XS and Tammy wears S.
4) Sexy Sweater – Minnie Rose Asymmetrical

This is my third (fourth? I lose track…) winter with this sweater. I stumbled on it in a Nicole Miller store, of all places, and I immediately fell head over heels in love. In pictures, it’s most similar to the Naked Cashmere Runa but actually has it’s own unique style. This sweater can ONLY be worn off my left shoulder…it’s specifically cut asymmetrically. I just realized I don’t think I’ve ever even used my sweater shaver on it…hmmm that’s a huge win in my book! And it’s probably the softest sweater in my closet.
I’m wearing it in an XS (that’s all they had in store and I wasn’t leaving without it) and honestly it’s a perfect fit for me. I like that this one is less slouchy and more “fitted” than my Naked Cashmere Tulip. It has a more streamlined fit on me. If you want it to be slightly looser, I’d say take your normal size instead of sizing down.
I noticed that this fantastic blue is on huge sale right now. Gosh I’m tempted…but I’m going to resist because I have entirely too many sweaters already…sigh. I hope someone snaps this beauty up…and trust me, it IS a beauty.
5) Sexy Sweater – Allsaints Elle
This is another sweater I’ve had for years…it’s a staple of Allsaints. Rachel bought it this year and also loves it, though we don’t have any current pictures of her wearing it so you’re stuck with me on this one!
What I love about this sweater is that it’s lightweight and also super versatile. It has snaps all the way around so you can undo as many or as few snaps as you want. Basically show as much or as little skin as you want, and the snaps just make it extra edgy. People ALWAYS ask me about it when I wear it.
