Shopping for her? No matter her style or interest, we’ve got you covered.
Our ULTIMATE gift guide for her…
Beauty
We have an entire gift guide dedicated to our favorite beauty items, but these are our top picks.
Rachel:
LED Mask: I have read a zillion glowing reviews about this LED face mask (no pun intended), and I’ve been eyeing it for ages. It’s officially at the very top of my wishlist. It’s suppose to brighten, lift, reduce wrinkles, hydrate, even skin tone, reduce sun damage…the list goes on and on. It’s pricey, but when compared to expensive facials, it will quickly pay for itself.
Makeup & Body Products: I’ve talked endlessly about my love of Westman Atelier makeup. This gift set has three of my very favorite products. And Nécessaire has become my favorite brand for lotion, body wash, body exfoliant, etc. You can’t go wrong with any of their products.
Hair Tools: I cannot live without my Dyson hairdryer – this would make a super luxe gift. I also have and love the straightener, and people rave about the air wrap as well. Less heat damage, easy styling. And I adore the new French blue color.
Perfume
Tammy: I am always drawn to unisex scents as I do not like anything too floral or feminine. Also remember perfume often takes about 20 minutes to settle so whenever you find something you like, try it a couple times on your skin and give it a bit to hit the notes. I switch up my perfumes daily, so I don’t lose my nose for them!
Byredo Velvet Haze: an Amber Woody fragrance for women and men. Top notes are Coconut, Hibiscus and Bergamot; middle notes are Patchouli, Tuberose and Osmanthus; base notes are Patchouli, Musk, Cacao Pod, Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Cashmeran. For me this is an everyday scent. (An FYI, I recommended this one to Rachel and it’s her very favorite. She’s almost blown thru a bottle in less than 6 months!)
Le Labo Another 13: Commissioned by AnOther Magazine to create an exclusive scent, this is a hypnotizing and unique scent composed of ambroxan, a synthetic animal musk, and blended with 12 other ingredients such as jasmine, moss and ambrette seed absolute, which gives it spike and shine. For me, this is a soft and delicate scent appropriate for daily use.
Le Labo Thé Noir 29: An ode to the noble tea leaf and the craft that surrounds it. It combines depth and freshness, softness and strength through permanent oscillation between the light of bergamot, fig and bay leaves and the depth of cedarwood, vetiver and musk. A special extraction of black tea leaves wraps up the composition by bringing to the formula a leafy, hay, tobacco feeling in the dry base, transforming this creation into a sensuous and addictive essence. I wear this primarily in the evenings and definitely more in the colder months.
Spoil Her With Jewelry
Marla Aaron – Our Favorites, How We Wear It, & Wishlists
Marla Aaron: We adore our Marla Aaron jewelry and one of her beautiful pieces would make the perfect Christmas gift. Check out our article above with all of the pieces we personally have and love.
Rachel:
House of Hitchcock: I have and love their cuff bracelet. It comes in both a thin and wide size – I have the thin one in brass and wear it a ton.
Mejuri: Does she love an earring stack? I wear these Mejuri bold hoops every single day (you can see them peeking out in the above photo) with my diamond studs and a third baby hoop. I work out in these, shower in them, sleep in them, etc. The quality is amazing. If she loves a good stack or just something simple – I highly recommend this brand.
Tammy:
Lagos: I am a bracelet lover and I received the first one as a gift from my husband and I wear it whenever I can. It’s so pretty and special but also works for the every day. I’m swooning over the other two, also!
Fitness
Rachel:
The Oura Ring: I’m so intrigued by this. Everyone I know that’s really into health and fitness seems to be wearing one of these. It automatically syncs with Apple Health & Google Fit. And it seems to measure – well, just about everything – and apparently it’s more accurate as it’s measuring from your finger vs wrist. It focuses on sleep, energy, general wellness, de-stressing, meditation, fitness… Color me interested.
Apple Watch: I have and love the Apple watch (Hermés edition). I love it for working out and making sure I get my steps in every day. But also for detaching from my phone. I especially love to walk my dogs every day while listening to a podcast or music sans phone also knowing my kids can still reach me in a emergency. And, if she likes the latest and greatest, the new Apple watch 7 was recently released.
Also note that the Hermés edition comes with a sports band in addition to the leather band. And the actual watch face is stainless steel vs aluminum. I can attest that it is tough – I am super hard on things and have dropped mine etc, and it is still in pristine condition. It also just *looks* so much nicer.
Vuori: We love our Vuoris. Our top pick is, hands down, the performance joggers. They are perfect for both lounging and exercise.
For The Cook
A beautiful Le Creuset dutch oven on the stove to cook all the cozy Winter soups and stews is a perfect gift if she doesn’t already have one. And an indoor herb garden? We love the idea of this. Fresh herbs make every recipe better. And lastly, Rachel has and loves this knife block – and hey, it’s on Oprah’s gift list this year too!
Don’t Forget The Cookbooks!
We both always need a few affordable gifts for our list, in case our kids ask for gift ideas. We are seriously huge fans of Tieghan Gerard at Half-Baked Harvest. And a good friend just raved about this Cravings Cookbook by Chrissy Teigen.
Pass The Wine, Please
This beautiful decanter has so much vintage flair, we are obsessed. And we both have and love the Estelle colored wine glasses. They are offered at West Elm (linked above) in multiple colors, but you can also buy them on the Estelle website in a mixed set of six. And lastly, no time to decant? This aerator looks fantastic and has glowing reviews.
Coffee…For Life
Rachel:
The Nespresso: We had a Nespresso for years and for the price it’s really really great. Full disclosure – What I don’t love? The pods. Yes, they are recyclable, but it always felt like such a pain to bag them up and drop at UPS. Also the pods are expensive and not freshly ground. But truly, it’s an amazing option.
The Miele: Well, our Nespresso quit working. My husband was actually happy about it because he finally had a chance to upgrade. We recently bought this newly released Miele coffee system and it is seriously life changing (but $$$).
Freshly ground beans – espresso or coffee at the touch of a button. It literally makes every coffee drink you can think of… And, it has a hot water spout that heats to the correct temperature for the type of tea you select. And the frothed milk? Pure deliciousness. It’s truly coffee shop quality.
And by the way, we’d call this a gift for THEM, which is something my husband and I do frequently at the holidays.
NOTE: There is a less expension version that does basically the same things and gets stellar reviews – my husband just went a little overboard on this purchase. He loves his coffee too. 😉
If you don’t have an Ember mug – get one already – nobody has time for cold coffee. Great gift!
UPDATE!!
Our Miele quit working after a few weeks…grrrr. We think it was because we weren’t doing some weekly deep clean of the milk frothing system but it wasn’t mentioned in the directions. We were also underwhelmed by their customer service, so we ended up returning it. That being said, it gets rave reviews and I truly feel like our situation was a fluke. So take it with a grain of salt.
We ended up ording the Jura Z10 based on the Williams Sonoma coffee expert’s recommendation – it was just released and is supposed to be amazing. It makes cold brew in addition to hot coffee and espresso. It’s on it’s way to our house, so I’ll let you guys know as soon as it arrives. It’s admittedly more than I ever dreamed we’d spend on coffee at home. There is also a slightly more budget friendly option that’s worth a look – the Jura S8.
For The Entertainer
A pretty charcuterie board is an easy win – we love this acacia wood board with handles and also the pretty initial board (on back-order – ugh, may not make it in time). Add some cheese knives and a charcuterie book, and this is an amazing gift.
For The Bookworm
Tammy: I just signed up for BOTM after pondering it forever. I got my first box in the mail today and I may have squealed a little! If you are like me and prefer hardcover books, this is a wonderful monthly surprise. Their monthly selections are always really good (you choose from 5) plus you can have two add-ons each month for a much lower price. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
For those who like their digital books, the newest Kindle Paperweight 2021 is getting rave reviews (Wired.com) and for the ultimate upgrade, there’s always the Oasis.
Winter-Loving Fashionista?
Tammy: I’ve lived away from a cold climate for quite some time, but one of my favorite purchases is the Burberry scarf I got before we went to Spain two winters ago. I saved my Bloomingdale’s notes all year to buy it for myself and I still love it, and bonus, it goes with literally everything! It’s the only winter scarf I own and I doubt I’ll ever need another!
Rachel: These are my top 3 investment outerwear pieces (that I’ve collected over the years), and some of my most-worn pieces. With these 3 coats in her arsenal, she’s ready for anything.
Lannac Puffer: I wear a size 1.
Anine Bing – TTS, don’t size up
Iro: Wearing a size 38, size up to fit sweaters underneath. (I’m typically an xs/2)
Add some cool gloves and a cozy beanie…
For The Clean Freak
Rachel:
OK, I wouldn’t typically recommend a vacuum as a gift – ever. You definitely need to ‘read the room’ with this one. And also maybe add a little something sexy to her stocking. BUT, Tammy finally convinced me to get a Roomba and let me tell you – I love this thing.
I have a shepherd (super heavy shedding dog) and used to vacuum our main floor daily. The Roomba keeps up with his hair (it’s actually miraculous) and makes the house feel cleaner. Also I thought I’d be emptying the bin daily – nope. It has some sort of voodoo magic that compresses it, and I only have to empty it about once a week.
Other Things For The House
Rachel:
Linen sheets and bath sheets as a luxe gift? Yes! I have had these for a couple years and they have been life-changing. My girls are always asking when they can get some for their bedroom & bath (the answer is when they make their own money, ha)! I’ve even convinced Tammy to try them, and Parachute always has their very rare sale on Black Friday, so be ready!
For The Traveler
Does she travel a lot – especially Internationally? This cashmere travel set by our favorite cashmere brand (Naked) is so luxe. It includes a travel silk pillowcase, silk eye mask, cashmere throw and socks. And she could of course also use these at home. This is such a splurgy and beautiful gift.
Noise cancelling headphones are a must – we aren’t fans of the huge bulky ones. Apple AirPods pros are good enough in our book. And this skincare set from Dermstore is really intriguing – so much good stuff packed into one set – all travel sized.
If she needs a new suitcase, we love Away. Rachel has used the larger carry-on in black for years and it’s holding up great. The aluminum one in rose gold or silver is oh so pretty, though.
For The Ski Bunny (Or Apres-Ski Lover)
Rachel:
Ok you guys, I included a lot here, but Anthropologie just released a bunch of new ski stuff – base layers, ski-themed sweaters etc and it is all so good. I’m dying over it.
Who Doesn’t Love A Massage?
Tammy:
We tried this out at a local store several months ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. I carry a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and often force my husband to massage them. He would still be required to do the work, but somehow I think this would be a lot easier on him, ha! And I guess he could get a turn too. 😉
CASETiFY Phone Cases
We both have and love CASETiFY cases. They have a million different designs, even for the most discernible taste, and they are also super protective without being bulky. I’ve dropped my phone a number of times without concern. You’ve probably seen us sporting ours in all our mirror selfies.
For The Hippie At Heart
Rachel:
An Evil Eye Necklace: An evil eye is said to guard you against misfortunes. And, did you know you shouldn’t technically buy an evil eye for yourself? If she’s into this type of thing, an evil eye is a perfect gift. This delicate necklace is so pretty and would mix with other necklaces effortlessly.
Pink Himalayan Salt Lamp: They are said to improve air quality, boost your mood, and help you sleep. I have one on my nightstand. Does it actually do these things? Well, I’m not totally convinced, but it does create a very zen ambiance. And I will say that since I’ve had it my dreams have been so vivid.
Graphic Tees: We all know by now how much I love my graphic tees. Last year my husband actually went to a bunch of vintage stores and gifted me his hand-picked finds. It was one of my favorite gifts ever – and shockingly romantic.
Foundrae: And! If you really want to spoil her, check out Foundrae – jewelry with meaning. One of my absolute favorites. I often explore their website and dream.
Plant Lover
Plant lover? A gorgeous watering can and mister are a sure bet. And if you really want to make her swoon, go to your local plant shop and pick out an exotic plant.
Get Cozy
Luxe pajamas, cozy slippers and a soothing candle. You can’t go wrong with these.
Cashmere
It’s no secret that we love our Naked Cashmere. We have two very thorough articles on the blog:
Why I Love Naked Cashmere
All The Ways We Are Wearing Our Naked Cashmere
Cashmere makes an amazing gift, and we stand behind all of the Naked Cashmere pieces. Check out their Black Friday selection for some great deals.
For Her Stocking
Rachel:
Tammy and I were chatting about how we stuff our own stockings every year. We can’t be the only ones?!
These small things are sometimes the hardest for our husbands. This is a list of things we’d actually love to see in our own stockings – plus some good chocolates. Maybe pass this along to your husband and let him do the work this year. 🙂
That wraps up our ultimate gift guide for her – we truly hope this takes a bit of the stress out of your shopping.

*to know
So many overlaps—the HBH cookbook is amazing, I’m a Byredo fan but Mojave Ghost is my jam, we have a Miele built in that keeps us running, the classic Burberry is forever (mine is pink), and I’d love a selection of vintage graphic tees!
LOVE this! Sounds like we would get along amazingly! Thanks so much for reading and being here! 💗💗
