We’ve each had this belt for about six months and while we’ve worn it a lot, surprisingly we’ve never done a detailed review!
Spoiler alert…if you only buy one belt, this one should be a top contender. It’s that good.

We’ve talked about the importance of belts a few times. It can be so incredibly transformative and turn a very basic outfit into one that feels more finished and polished. This article illustrates the dramatic difference a belt can make.
Sometimes people think of belts as too dressy or boring, so I wanted to show how you can turn a simple jeans-and-tshirt outfit into something more chic.
My sweet husband surprised me with reservations for brunch at a super popular Mediterranean restaurant – Herb & Wood in San Diego, in case you are local!
And it’s been incredibly warm lately – 70s and 80s. My go-to on a Sunday morning is something easy and comfortable, which often means jeans and a tshirt. It just felt a little plain, so I added my Isabel Marant Lecce belt, and voila, much better!

This entire outfit works really well with our very favorite Frame Le Lexington booties (in our recent Friday Sale Finds…still available on deep sale if you haven’t already scooped them up).
This belt is such a neutral color that it would go well with almost any warm shoe or bag combination. Plus it comes in a bunch of colors!

Once I added my animal print bag, this jeans and tshirt combination felt very Sunday-brunch appropriate! My bag is older and currently unavailable, but I’ve linked a newer Spring version that is super cute and would work year-round!
Also important! Notice how much it defines my waist! I think it makes my waist appear smaller. That’s one huge benefit of a belt — and who doesn’t like that?!

We’ve both worn this belt with dresses, and it really shines in this area. Especially to add contrast and interest to a simple black dress.

This Zadig & Voltaire dress has a very simple elastic waist and was too plain without a belt. A black belt just got lost…it needed some kind of contrast and interest. The Isabel Marant Lecce belt gave the perfect polish and finish to this simple satin dress!
