The Pieces I Own

I did a mini Farm Rio Clothing review last summer. That was my first time even trying Farm Rio and I really do love them for the summer. It’s all those bright cheerful colors and soft breathable fabrics. Perfect for those carefree sunny days!

While my top from last year is sold out, the Farm Rio Our Stamps Tie Front Halter is the style I would go for this year. It’s so pretty and fresh and the cut is fabulous.

Dressed Up

This year I added a beautiful new piece that I’ve already worn four times – the Farm Rio Urban Jungle Tie Front Crop Top. Honestly, the web site doesn’t do it justice. If I’d only seen it online I would have thought no way – too short and not flexible enough for my capsule wardrobe.

Top (up to M) | Skirt (TTS) | Shoes (TTS) | Bag

Thankfully I saw it in person at Nordstrom and it’s honestly perfect. Well, with one minor adjustment, that is.

Technically this is meant to be more of a kimono style, but I also love wearing it as a regular tie-front blouse. I had the Nordstrom tailor department add two snaps to the front and now it has way more versatility!

And the pictures make it appear much shorter. I have a ridiculously long torso and it’s still a great length on me. If you don’t want even an inch of stomach showing, you can have three snaps put in and just tie it lower…the long tie is super versatile!

It’s also great worn over a dress – as a wrap – and just loosely tied. I forgot to take pictures when I wore it that way, so I threw it on again and took a quick selfie.

Dressed Down

I’m ridiculously sensitive when it comes to temperature, so once things get warmer than 75F, I basically live in shorts and skirts. Everything has to be easy and comfortable and of course still cute. This top literally goes with everything.

And yes, it absolutely looks great with sneaks or flat sandals, too. Seriously…anything goes here.

And I’ve worn it with my new Paige Anessa jeans and orange shoes – it was fabulous for girls’ night out!

Other Pieces I Love

I scoured all the sites in search of the best Farm Rio pieces, and I’ve narrowed it down to a select few. While I haven’t tried any of these on in person, they all look so pretty online.

Dresses

At first glance, the first one appears a bit muted for Farm Rio, but when you look more closely you can see it actually has beautifully soft colors throughout. It’s also got that perfect breezy chic look – I’m kind of dying to see it. And a good friend has the second dress and it looks amazing on her.

My Other Favorite Top

This is the top I would buy if I didn’t have mine from last year. In fact, I love the colors on this one even more than mine. The cut is so flattering and I would wear this with everything from white or blue jeans to shorts to skirts. Love!

A Pretty Sarong

This is pretty much the perfect beach or vacation sarong – pair this over any bathing suit and you are set.

Wrap-Up

I’m really happy that Farm Rio has popped onto my radar. Between their very admirable sustainability practices and the unique summer styles I’ve yet to see elsewhere, I will definitely be keeping my eye on them. I’m also impressed with their reasonable prices, especially for the quality.

Have you tried Farm Rio? Do you plan to? Drop us a line and let us know your thoughts.
