Fun Colorful Heels Are My Favorite Spring Trend!

Fun colorful heels are my favorite Spring trend! When it comes to my wardrobe, it might come as a surprise that I’m somewhat of a minimalist. Too much “stuff” makes me anxious, and my favorite outfits are made up of mostly basics with a piece or two that make them pop.

For Spring and Summer, the statement piece I’m most excited about are fun colorful heels. And while these fun colorful heels are trending, they are also timeless. So no worries about pushing them to the back of your closet anytime soon.

Why I LOVE Fun Colorful Heels

Wearing the L'agence Eloise fun colorful heels in green.

I love this fun colorful heel trend so much because it’s easy and has the power to transform a rather basic outfit into something special. And I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t like to think too hard when it comes to getting dressed (we have enough to stress about, right?!)

The outfit above is about as basic as it gets – a gray cashmere turtleneck and jeans. Had I worn a black or nude shoe, it would have been fine but fallen a bit flat. These green pumps add interest and a hint of fun.

Throw these on with just about any neutral and you are good to go. (Color mixing is also really fun, and I’ll work on an article soon!) It’s really effortless. These pumps look equally great with black, navy, light washed denim, white, etc. They are shockingly versatile.

My Favorite Fun Colorful Heels
L’Agence

Our favorite heels in general are by L’Agence – both the pump and heeled sandal version. While these are definitely an investment shoe, they seriously look and feel like shoes twice their price. And comfort-wise, these are the best we have found thanks to a cushioned footbed. You can see me wearing my leopard pump here, and Tammy is wearing the leopard heeled sandal here.

My green pair has been sold out for weeks, but we just noticed they were restocked at Intermix! I am thrilled. I have been wearing these heels constantly, no apologies. Buy what you truly love, and wear the heck out of it.

Also, L’agence will continue to drop more colors for Spring, so we’ll keep you guys in the loop.  You can see their Spring lookbook here.

**This neon yellow pair just came out and please, I’m begging, somebody buy these. I’m literally dying over these. They will go fast!

A Roundup of More Fun Colorful Heels

I was very picky with this roundup and only included pairs that I’d personally consider for myself (which is always our motto, by the way). As new shoes are released, I’ll update this article and let you guys know.

Other Fun Colorful Heels
Pumps

If you live somewhere like I do that has a colder Spring, a pump just makes more sense (no cold toes). And you can wear these year round including the Summer months.

Sam Edelman Hazel
*Budget-Friendly

Tammy has these pumps in several colors, and for the price they are really great. They come in a ton of pretty colors including this lavender (the 2022 Pantone color of the year) and a pretty pink. If you think a colorful pump is something you’d only wear occasionally, this would be my top pick.

Badgley Mischka
(the Manolo Blahnik Knock-Off Shoe)

Embellishments are not typically my jam, but something about this pump just works for me. It comes in multiple colors including blue and red, but the pink is by far my favorite. These would be so great with denim. And the scrappy pair was just released and are really pretty.

Other Fun Colorful Heels
Sandals

Sam Edelman (limited sizes)
Budget-Friendly (under $100)

This color is so similar to the L’agence pair that we are both drooling over. These sandals are fairly comfortable too – and on sale for $80!

Frame

I just ordered and received these orange pumps and they seriously make my heart skip a beat. They are the perfect orange – bordering on neon but not quite. They are surprisingly versatile and look good with just about everything in my closet – I swear. And comfort? Amazing! The heel is completely walkable and the footbed has so much cushion. They almost feel like a comfort brand shoe. More soon! And the green are equally amazing. (Limited sizes remaining in orange – hoping for a restock.)

The Comfort Brand Pair I’m Seriously Considering
*Budget-Friendly

These have similar vibes to the orange Frame shoes above at a fraction of the price. I tried them on and they are exceptionally comfortable (no surprise). They are a slightly deeper orange compared to the Frame, but honestly, really really good. I highly recommend these – a top pick!

Marc Fisher
*Budget-Friendly

Tammy tried the strappy green pair, and they are stunning. They come in multiple colors including a pretty blue, but we are partial to the green. These really are the perfect Spring/Summer shoes at an affordable price. We fully stand behind the quality of a Marc Fisher shoe.

Vince Camuto
*Budget-Friendly

Vince Camuto is another favorite budget-friendly brand with consistently good quality. I love that these lean a bit neon. The chunky heeled pair also comes in a fun pink, and the mule comes in too many colors to list.

Jeffrey Campbell
*Budget-Friendly

Jeffrey Campbell is another top pick for budget-friendly shoes. We both tried these mules and they are exceptionally comfortable and are available in a ton of colors. This orange pair is really great too.

Veronica Beard

We’ve been eyeing these strappy heels for a few weeks now, and Tammy is strongly considering them in pink. The pink has already sold out once and was just restocked. I think the apricot is equally pretty and unexpected.

And the mules are beautiful too with a more walkable heel (2 1/2″). They come in multiple colors including all the neutrals.

Stuart Weitzman

Simply stunning, and you can’t beat the quality of a Stuart Weitzman shoe.

Two Pretty Blues

These gorgeous blues are the perfect way to venture away for the classic colors without being too bold. They are really pretty and I love them as a monochromatic look with denim.
