I found the perfect Summer sweater by Sweaty Betty…
I feel like every Summer I need that one piece to throw on in the evening for cocktails on the patio when the temps drop. Or to throw in my suitcase for a weekend in the mountains…or beach. Something that provides a little warmth without being too heavy or hot.
This Sweaty Betty open stitch pullover is the best I have ever found. It has an open weave that is breathable – but if you look closely at the pic, you will notice that the weave is a little tighter over the body vs the arms, which is brilliant – I can easily wear a regular bra without it being scandalous (and as always, I reached for black bralette!).
It also has a drawstring hem, but I prefer it with a small half tuck with denim shorts. On the Nordstrom site it is modeled over biker shorts, which is also pretty perfect. This piece would be great to throw over workout clothes for to/from the gym or yoga.
It does have an oversized fit – I would recommend going with your true size. I’m wearing an xs.
