Dog days of Summer? THIS is what I reach for the most – my current Summer uniform.
Cutoff Denim Shorts: (wearing 1 size up)
I had almost given up on denim shorts this year – all of mine were suddenly feeling too short and tight in the legs. The couple extra covid pounds I gained could have been the culprit. But I also genuinely think that my body shape is changing a bit as I’m now solidly in my 40s (43 to be exact). I’m finally getting curves! And I’m not going to lie – I’m not mad about it! haha
Just when I was ready to declare myself over denim cutoffs, Tammy found these Moussy shorts. They are perfect! They are looser in the legs and comfortable. High waisted – and fitted in the waist without squeezing. And the best part? The perfect length! I feel covered – even when sitting, but they still have a definite short short vibe. I will be living in these for the rest of the Summer.

All of these are some of my most worn Summer pieces. And guess what you guys! My sunnies are currently 30% off. They are one of my favorite pairs and work amazingly well under a hat!
