The Jcrew Maxine V-neck Shift Dress in Linen is the only dress I’ve bought this season. Dresses are hard for me, but I adore this one.
Here’s what I love about this dress:
1. Pockets. I mean truly, I wish all dresses had pockets. The world would be a nicer place!
2. Roomy without looking like a sack. I have a wider back and bust and often I have to size up to fit my top but then it’s too big everywhere else. This shape is so perfect and would look good on most bodies!
3. Length. Is it just me or do most mini dresses barely cover your underwear? That’s not my thing. We actually sat at a bar stool for wine and I had zero issues with it riding up too high. This is rare. I didn’t feel the need to wear shorts either!
4. If bright colors aren’t your think it also comes in black, though I wish it came in white (that’s the unicorn of dresses for me). Maybe next year the Jcrew Maxine V-neck Shift Dress will come in white!
5. Sizing comes in Classic, Petite, and Tall and range from XXX Small to XX Large. Brilliant!
