Tammy & I were chatting with one of our dear friends and readers @laurenblythedesigns, when she mentioned finding an amazing pair of faux leather pants at Evereve – for under $100. I had been looking for a pair of black faux leather pants to mix in with all of my go-to denim so decided to give them a try.
Not only did I order the under $100 Evereve pair but I also ordered a pair by Mother (one of our most-loved brands) that was over double the price. I planned on doing a high/low article and thought knowing me, I’ll be keeping the Mothers.
Well, I was wrong!! The under $100 pair blew the Mothers out of the water – so much so that I scrapped the idea of a high/low article completely.
I love that they are a matte black which doesn’t scream Faux Leather Pants! It makes them versatile – I’d easily wear these with sneakers and a sweater during the day. My top sneaker pick would be my favorite Zadig high tops. But they are also so easy to dress-up with a heel or dressier boot.
I love the zipper detail at the ankle – it just adds a little something. And they are lined but I would consider them a mid-weight. Not too heavy for Fall but thick enough to totally work as it gets colder too.
