Straight-Leg Relaxed Jeans and Snow Boots? MAYBE!

Straight-leg relaxed jeans and snow boots? MAYBE!

I’ve been wearing the heck out of the Mother Kick-It jeans. They are a straight-leg, full-length jean with a relaxed fit which is so in right now. They have 2% elastane which makes them buttery soft and comfortable. And the bum is good too!

I showed them a few weeks ago on the blog with booties. I have worn them with heels and lug boots as well (more soon on the lug boots). But the one shoe I didn’t think would work…snow boots! I threw them on with my Sorel’s to walk my dog (Rocky) the other day without giving it much thought. I was focused on staying warm and dry vs. fashionable. The result? I don’t hate it!

IF you’re going to pair straight-leg relaxed jeans and snow boots, this is what I recommend:

  1. A full tuck or partially tucked sweater or top. You definitely need to make sure and show the waist.
  2. Same with the coat – I like a shorter length coat with this silhouette. Otherwise, it can quickly look frumpy.
  3. I cuffed the jeans to show more of the boot.

And that’s it! Honestly, I love these jeans with my lug boots – I’ll post that soon. And the snow boots…well, they are better than expected!
