I have a lot of black tops – more than I need…and I’m very picky about purchasing new ones. This Norma Kamali off the shoulder one is definitely NOT just another black top. I found it during my black top round up – here…and well, I couldn’t resist trying it.
It’s made of the softest, slinkiest jersey material. I was worried that it would be super body con but nope, it is roomy in the body without being too slouchy. There is definitely NO clinging to the tummy area. I’m telling you – it’s the perfect fit.
Also some off the shoulder tops can be so annoying to wear – always wanting to pop off your shoulders. Not this one, it stays securely in place without digging in… Also worth mentioning is that the cut of it makes it easy to wear under a jacket or coat, unlike a lot of other off the shoulder tops.
And did I mention…there are thumb holes! I die.
I bought this top with Fall/Winter nights out in mind, but we had a chilly evening here in Denver last night so I threw it on. It’s super versatile and easily dressed up or down. It’s so good – I think Tammy ordered it too!
I’m wearing an xs with plenty of room, so definitely take your normal size.
