I’ve been considering a cashmere set for ages, and they have been popping up everywhere. Time after time I’ve talked myself out of it because cashmere joggers? Seemed a little extra – haha. Then Tammy did a review of Naked Cashmere – if you missed that last week, definitely check it out here. It’s good!
After hearing Tammy rave about Naked cashmere, I decided I would try one of the cashmere sets. I chose navy (Tammy has a set in the color Adobe). When it arrived and I tried it on I literally gasped. It’s like wrapping yourself in a hug.
I totally get this purchase can seem a bit unnecessary – especially if you’re only going to wear it as a true lounge set. But I’m here to tell you this set is luxe enough to dress up – yep, dress up! And of course the pieces can be worn separately. (See this post, where I styled this set for a night out.)
I also put together a reel on Instagram styling it a few ways so you guys can see the versatility.
I’ve now worn this set a few times without yet washing (thank goodness the weather has cooled down). And I’m happy to report that there was no bagging out in the bum or excessive bagging out in the knees – the quality is off the charts! I was a bit worried that the navy would attract every piece of lint and dog hair (heavy shedding dog at my house) but nope, not a worry.
I will wash this set on delicate and lay flat to dry. Cashmere does pill – it all does – especially places that receive a lot of friction (under the arms etc). I tried the Naked cashmere comb and I highly recommend it.
I paired my joggers with a half-zip pullover which is majorly trending right now. But you could choose any sweater – again, see Tammy’s review for all the options.
