I have a new favorite Anine Bing Tee – and I haven’t taken it off…
I have a slight addiction to graphic tees, and I honestly have too many. I think I am drawn to them for a few reasons…
- I am a lover of neutrals and most of my closet (think 90%) is in the white, black, gray range… and graphic tees are the perfect way to add a pop of color
- I don’t do a ton of patterns (gosh, am I boring or what…perhaps I need to work on this!)…a graphic tee adds interest while keeping me safely away from a true print – ha! (I do wear some prints and patterns – just not a lot)
- They are crazy versatile and can be worn with anything
I seriously don’t need another one…and I try really hard to resist them. This Anine Bing one though – sigh – it’s perfect. I couldn’t stay away. I ordered “just to see” and well, I wore it for literally 4 days in a row – I love it that much.
(And by the way, wearing stuff on repeat is kindof my thing…no shame!)
I have a few Anine Bing tees, and they are normally really thick. This one is much thinner and drapier, and I noticed it got knocked a little in reviews for not being as high quality as her other tees. I actually disagree – I love the light weight and drippiness for Summer. I typically find the thicker Anine Bing tees to be a little too heavy when it’s hot out. But, it is different from her typical thick tees, so I wanted top point that out.
My favorite thing about this tee is hands down the colors – it’s the perfect blend of neutrals (a mix of grays, browns, olive and taupe) with a gorgeous pop of sky blue. It looks amazing with denim, black and white jeans and pants…basically everything in my closet.
Oh – and the print on the front is Fay Dunaway basking in a Beverly Hills yard gazing at her Oscar…so Hollywood cool.
Today, I styled it with my favorite Agolde Parker cutoffs, sandals and a Clare V woven bag for an effortless everyday Summer look.
